From day 1, I thought this new high-tech relationship was not going to last too long. I was proven wrong on my initial reactions. The vendor provided their "A" team. They were very quick at turning over the servers in the PROD environment.

Their theory explains (and in practice shows) that the attributes of a team are directly traced to the attributes of the product and viceversa.

The purpose of this post (and this series for that matter) is to recount some lessons learned while I worked in a project to migrate our data center from an Internally Hosted facility to a third-party provider one.
